Hello Vinewood Community!
New guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control recommend the cancellation of all events with more than 50 people to curb the spread of COVID-19. Additional guidelines are encouraging people to avoid social gatherings of more than 10 people. Since social distancing is the best way to protect the most vulnerable and at risk people in our church family and the larger community, we are making necessary changes that will help us care for others, stay connected as a church body, and help us share the love of Jesus with friends and neighbors.
With that in mind, we want to share the following information:
We are canceling Sunday morning services for the following three Sundays: March 22, March 29, and April 5. You will be able to watch a video message and receive guidelines for an interactive worship experience at home. Simply click on the video below “Vinewood Worship March 21-22” on the Vinewood homepage (www.vinewoodchurch.com)
2. We are still hoping to celebrate Easter together. We will keep you posted regarding plans to celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection on April 12.
3. We encourage Small Groups and Bible Study Groups to determine their best plan for meeting together and caring for each of those in your group. This is also a critical time to be a good neighbor and check in with people who live around you and need help.
4. We want to make sure every person in the Vinewood Community is contacted and cared for. If you have a need or are aware of someone in our congregation or your neighborhood with a special need, please contact our Deacons:
Dwight Friesen(209) 326-6284
Tim Suderman(916) 601-0926
We appreciate your generosity and want to make sure God’s resources keep flowing through us to places of need. If you want to make a financial gift, you can donate online or mail a check to Vinewood Community Church at 1900 W. Vine, Lodi, CA 95242.
Please contact us with any questions. We are here to help.

This is a time to remember Vinewood Church is not just a building. We are the Community of Jesus, connected through God’s Spirit and infused with His life. We have nothing to fear or worry about because absolutely NOTHING can separate us from His love (See Romans 8:31-39).
The LORD bless you and keep you.
